 Welcome to Nauvoo--a city rich with history and culture. Once the home of Sauk and Fox Indians, the early 1800's saw the beginning of a steady stream of European immigrants. Some stayed a few years, some stayed for generations, but each brought to this area their dreams, culture, and beliefs. Their legacy offers a rich experience that brings visitors from all over the world.
Today the Nauvoo Area Chamber of Commerce has many members offering services that will make your stay both enjoyable and memorable. Whether you are here for a few hours, a weekend, or a week, we think you will be surprised by what we have to offer.
